if you can spend $2 on some trashy tabloids, why cant you offer the same to someone who needs it more than the paparazzi do?

pardon me if this sounds disturbing.

as i was walking along a sheltered walkway leading to the bus interchange today, there was this lady who was trying to shout for some business. she was struggling to make her presence known. Everybody who brushes their shoulders against her was trying to avoid eye contact. Maybe that was the only way to save themselves of a purchase.

Then as i walked on, i saw the same old people forking out money for some magazines at a newsstand. so the need to be alerted of the latest gossips in town carries so much weight.

i don't know man.

if you really don't wish to buy anything from her, you can simply flash a smile and walk past. at least acknowledge her presence or something right? Its really just not nice to shun her like she has caught some virus or stuff
