clock strikes 3 and Im only done with one chapter of readings. bad news is ive got 5 more to go and its less than 3 hrs to dawn. Im gonna stop being a nerd and reward myself and probably you with a fast sequel to suzhou part 1.
Here goes:
Ive thought long and hard about the second spot. I have to be brutually honest with myself and the girls. The day spent at 李公堤 was great but it wasnt gonna take the first spot.
The view, lightings, cake, food, occassion and ambience gives 梦田香草 (name of the restaurant we dined at) its well-deserved place at spot number 2!
here's the view from inside the restaurant where we celebrated our dearest da jie's birthday

the restaurant

how it looks from the outside

Im not gonna dive into details about 梦田香草 because you could always go to this blog: http://princess-elaine.livejournal.com/ for better english and finer details.
The celebration was the most talked about day of the trip, with actual climax being ching running to the washroom to hide her tears from us. what a limelight thief! haha.
Well... it shld have been the top moment of the trip but it was way too dramatic and overpowering for a fairytale ending. That day was characterized by such heavy hearts and emotions as we were edging near the end of trip. I honestly honestly dont wanna picture my top suzhou moment to be this dark.
SO.. just keep waiting for the top suzhou moment. It be here as soon as i complete the 5 chapters.
Goodnight
