i wanted to blog about how my day was perfect after attending my complimentary dslr class at the international business park.
I wanted to say that I can now operate the PASM mode on my dslr.
I wanted to embark on a photoshooting frenzy and share with you on my passion for photography.
I wanted to tell you that ive enjoyed my meeting today with my 311 group and we spent the afternoon gossiping and laughing and i love it.
I was happy until i realized that my group scored a 6/15 for cesim, a stimulation game we were made to play over the weeks.
one group scored 5, the other 6, and the winner a whopping 15/15 for the game.
You could always argue that we did above average. But well, thats if you take a loser's point of view. I never go south when benchmarking results. Sure, the view's great from the top. Thats what you take away from a ride up the flyer, where 10 bucks is all you can lose. Not here, not when alot is at stake.
In audit, we would go to great lengths to seek a penny and its source. Then, we find ourselves the object of laughter and ridicule.
We are not a calculative lot. We are being merticulous. materiality thresholds define our scope of work. When we find ourselves treading the line, we stop and we search. We search for that penny because it counts. It is what we do so we do not defy the boundaries and we remain accountable to our client, to our employer and to ourselves.
If its stupid to you that i work so hard, you probably have not found your very own penny, the one you wanna work your heart for and cry over if you fail to have it.
Im an accountant and I am a fighter.
Goodnight.
