I wish I am an idiot so i can fit in.
i had a terrible day. some car accident pretty sum that up. i realized that i have cried more this year than in the last 23. Its crazy and i wish i had done more to begin the year somehow different.
Still, i am gonna be good good good.
i stayed up till 4am to catch the live coverage of GE 2011. Its pretty amazing. At least i know someone who probably teared more than i did last night. He's an unfortunate victim of Singapore's aspiration of a first world parliament. He had to make way for some political revolution we have been dreaming of for decades, some revolution that exists because we were finally bored of facebook and decided to direct our time to destroying our future. Hello. Change right? Change is on every one's lips and up in the air. I know that word too well. It always begins with ambitions, great talks and ends with a price.
I am not for any party or any one. I am pro-me. I only think of myself, me and I. And I could do that for years now because it happens that the party every one is detesting brought peace and prosperity to this place i am proud to call home. I had little worries about my family and future. I only had to think about myself because all else was taken after.
You could argue that 6 seats isnt alot to lose. If losing one foreign minister and our first woman minister would mean that our voices are heard, why not? Sure. Before they do so, in all honesty, i hope you hear yourselves well.
If you are for the opposition, I like to congratulate you on your victory last night. I hope that optimism stays with you till 2016.
God bless me.
