it was my first weekend back in sg and i already missed how last sunday was spent.

extremely busy weekend. there was dinner, shopping and the li-ning open. You know how i always hear lin dan is badminton's answer to roger federer.so i bought the tickets for the finals (i dont even like watching badminton!!!) because i had to see for myself how good is this great one. Apparently, he didnt turn up, quoting illness as an excuse. And i got my answer anyway. He's a far cry from roger. Maybe this is why you get US15000 when you win a superseries but over a million for a grand slam and you hear so many jiayous during a badminton match. They honestly need to lift their games and attitudes....

on another note, i have been reading hard truths by lee kuan yew for an hour now. i say give your next japanese dinner a miss and get this book.

apart from the fact that i dont like how lky looks on the cover, this book is a star buy. It makes you think more about singapore as a disneyland with death penalty.

Go get it.

I have been good lately and cannot wait for September to be here.
